Copier Rentals-Why I hate them

Leasing Copiers- Read the Fine Print

When you get a proposal for a copier, ask the representative questions.  What happens at the end of the lease?  Do I have to pay to return my printer?  Can we upgrade to a different copier, like with a car?  Will you still service our office machine if we decide to buy it?

Printer Rental Hidden Fees

When buying or leasing a copier we need to ask questions concerning what extra things will we be paying for.  Do we pay for shipping on our toner or parts?  We shouldn’t have to do this, but who knows.  Is there an extra charge for coming out to our business?

Which Copier Rental Company Can You Trust

Something is to be said about trust in life nowadays.  Everyone is into themselves.  Sit down with your copier company rep, and get to know them a little.  People have a sense of if they can trust other people.  Go with your gut feeling, and do your best!

Is Your Copier Company On Time

Sometimes companies say they are going to be out to help you, just to put you off for another day.  We make sure if we say we are coming, we are coming to help you with your printer.  If we run into an issue, we let you know.  And no, we don’t run into an issue each time.

Why Does My Copier Company Leave Us Hanging?

Printer Toner for Copier Leases

Why does my current printer rental company only allow me 1 toner at a time, when I pay for copier maintenance?

Our Printer wasn’t working Friday morning and our copier company said they can’t help until Tuesday.

We were planning on leaving work early Friday for a family vacation, but our copier malfunctioned and blew up our plans.

Printer Leasing in St. Pete is Supposed to Be Easy

My printer leasing company in St. Pete is not really my favorite.  We thought signing up for the “copier rental St. Petersburg businesses trust” would give us more time to operate our business, as opposed to worrying about if we can print, copy or scan.  Here’s what many have experienced.

When we get a message on our copier machine to add toner, we call the copier company to tell them, and they send us one…right?  So I asked them for an extra, just in case we ran out on at a busy time sensitive period.  All I got was grief for wanting to get an extra toner.  We pay this company around a thousand dollars per year for printer services, and they want to interrupt our daily business functioning over toner?  What a pain in the butt, we will probably find a new St. Pete copier company next time.

We got a new copier printer 2 months ago.  We first had 2 printer rental companies give us quotes.  one was a little cheaper cost per copy on color.  Instead of 6.5 cents per color page, the other company charges 4.5 cents per page.  Yeah that was 2 cents per color page difference, which equaled $200 savings per year on 10,000 color pages.  Anyhow, things were going great, then we called for a blue toner.  We got it, along with a bill for $25 shipping! It also included charges for scans, what the heck?  It wasn’t much per page, but it all adds up.  I then called the other copier company to see if they would like to take service on the machine.  They told us they did not charge for shipping or scans.  Unfortunately the copier rental we got had a brand that not many companies want to service, so we were screwed.  Lesson learned for the next printer copier lease.

Another irritating thing our St. Pete printer servicer did was hold us hostage for a bill that we never even received.  We pay monthly for our copier maintenance, and it happened that our credit card was hacked, so we had to change. We tried to tell all vendors, but sometimes you miss one.  We were out of toner on our printer, so we ordered some.  The copier company told us no toner without payment.  We told them what happened and they didn’t seem to care.  Bad business guys!

We leased a new copier about 5 years ago.  We paid all of our bills on time, and had very few copier service calls.  Then the end of our lease came.  We wanted to explore other opitons, but the leasing company gave us some insane figure to buyout the copier or return it.  So I have to pay to return the copier, I thought?  What a joke.  Now I am stuck with this company.
